Coalitions

We are part of two wider coalitions:

• The 10 campus UC Green New Deal Coalition. This is undertaking many actions, such as putting the climate crisis into the UC President Search
• The 30+ organization San Diego Green New Deal Alliance. Through this, we supported the Youth Opportunity Passes as part of the MTS Covid Response and Recommendations for federal, state and local COVID relief programs

At UC San Diego, we have the following Coalition Allies:

We have taken part in the following actions / made the following solidarity statements:

• 2019-2020, members participated in various San Diego 350 actions
• Spring 2020, members participated in graduate student COLA strike
• May 2020, members participated in the Earth Day Virtual Climate Uprising organized by San Diego 350
• June 2020, Statement on recent police killings of black Americans, protests, and police response: Black Lives Matter
• Summer 2020, members participated in BLM protests at UCSD and in San Diego including George Floyd Protests, M4BL Week of Action, Vigil for Black Lives, BLM San Diego County Moving Protest, and Labor for Black Lives Car Caravan.
